Ive been eying this thread for quiet some time and let me just say THE PROOF IS IN THE PUDDIN!

Stercison a Android legend

Well I have been wanting to do this for sometime to show respect to one of the greats to have worked and still does work on android. Well if you dont know what Stercison has done here is a quick brake down he was the first to create a theme on the android platform thats was able to be installed the way we do it now and I have been privileged enough to have worked with him on it, he also brought the first great lockscreen to android with battery percentage actual battery on the lockscreen and white time on the notification clock. Well I cant even get into how much of a help he also is to the android community with his dedicated and helpful attitude. The reason I desided to do this now is he just dropped recently his latest masterpiece that was put together by him and another buddy of mine Jdwme2 which is another great designer and theme creator hats off to him as well.

I5700 Galaxy Video Footage

Here is a quick video of the I5700 Galaxy running Android.

Samsung I5700 Galaxy Lite running Android, keepin' it classy

Well, what do we have here? Looks like someone's got their hands on Samsung's low-cost, Android-packin' I5700 Galaxy Lite. And don't you worry -- the fine folks at ai.rs blog have assured us that the rave-tastic green battery cover will be replaced by something a little less garish when this bad boy goes into production. Otherwise, it should all be here, including: a 3.2 megapixel camera, 1GB memory, and an AMOLED display. And for further proof that HTC Click has a fight on its hands, hit the read link for plenty more glamor shots -- but not before you check out the video of Sammy's contender after the break.

T-Mobile UK announces the Android-powered Pulse

To all of the companies with intentions to pump out cheap and readily available devices: It’s time to get a move on because Huawei has just schooled you. Announced today is the T-Mobile Pulse, a prepaid-capable Android smartphone that utilizes a UI overlay known as Canvas. In terms of specs, the Pulse is quite capable with a 3.5-inch HVGA display, 3.2 megapixel camera, 2GB internal memory, 528MHz along with HSDPA, Wi-Fi and GPS radios. There are two features notably absent however; a flash for the camera and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Both T-Mobile and Huawei insist that their exclusion was necessary to keep the Pulse’s dimensions slim and trim at 160mm x 62.5mm x 13.5mm. Like it or not, the 3.5mm-less and flash-less Pulse will be as cheap as chips when it goes on sale this October: £179.99 ($293 USD) — or as low as 4.95€ in Germany with a 2-year agreement.

JesusFreke Has Stopped Making Builds/Roms And Will Be Missed.

Well if you don't know who JesusFreke is then you still have a lot to learn about the android OS,he is to me and to many the god father of android being the first to build a modded build for android's G1. His builds have set the way for many developers such as TheDude,Justanotherdev,Cyanogen etc... to create builds/Roms and even developers such as my self who create themes for the G1,he also offered help to everyone wanting to learn android and anything he could share with his fans. The reason I created this post was to pay respect to JesusFreke for everything he has done for XDA and all android fans as well if was not for him the G1 would not be what it is today.

So I thank you bro and I wish you the best in what ever you do.
